Think perfume oils are weak, think again. Don't knock them until you've tried one (or two). I've been convinced and converted to the beautiful wiles of perfume oils ever since I bought a few via Perfume Parlour that makes both alcohol and oil perfume formulations of more popular scents and their own concoctions. I find that perfume oils can last long on the skin and creates a new dynamic as the oil blends, warms and moulds itself to the skin. Perhaps a more sensory and personal experience than simply spritzing on an alcoholic mist which sits on top clouding over your natural pheromones rather than with them.
You can apply perfume oils to all the regular perfume pulse points (inside your writs, neck, decolletage, behind knees/ears etc.) and even places you daren't to spray a perfume - like around your belly button. Al Rehab makes many perfumes, the company is based in Saudi Arabia but sell worldwide, I got mine from Beauty Base.
Notes - Red Rose and Vanilla
Red Rose: A dupe of Kenzo Flowers. My mother favouirte perfume (Kenzo Flower) and perhaps one of my least. Sure it's a pretty scent, it has weight and longevity but it cloys in the room, the dry down has an acridness to it which nauseates like toxic gas - very headache-inducing and every dupe I ever get falls straight into her hands as I stagger out of the room. Perhaps I was never woman enough for such a bold sweet floral scent much more suited to a personality who revels in control and domination *coughs*. Yet, like all daughters who play dress up in their mother's shoes, I have now attempted such with Al Rehab's Red Rose - which I perceive to be much softer than the real deal and not so domineering. Granted my first purchase once again fell straight into her hands but, I managed to gain the courage to try one for myself.
This is a pretty and (dare I say it) romantic scent. A woman who likes this likes nice things and ain't afraid to show you just how she's feeling. Sure, this scent evokes my mother's joy over perfume and perhaps it's tinged with her own robust but kind natured character. Yet, I definitely think romance and luxury is something that a person who wears Red Rose is about. I do enjoy this scent and whilst I find it more bearable than the real deal it still cloys and lingers, longer than I imagine it should.
Notes - Rose, Citruses and Green Notes
Sabaya: Here comes spring! This is a sprightly joyous scent that if it were a balloon would be bouncing around the room. It's sweet and tangy, bursting with rain, sunshine, laughter and tears. It's the girl in the blue dress that he can't forget, the bejewelled shoes you gawked at in the window, its the unattainable joys of living in the right now, inspiration, fascination but never obsession or brooding over times forgot. Forget the past, focus on the present and forge the future. Sure, it's not terribly romantic although it can dress you for that occasion when hearts collide and if I am very objective in my deducing - this smells like nice laundry detergent, you know how you'd want your clothes to smell. Anyway, I find it pretty, with good projection and a happy quality that never really fades out of its bubbly character.
Summed Up Thoughts: As dupes and scents go, these are good. Yes, I do prefer Sabaya but that was expected since I ain't a fan of Kenzo Flower itself (although the ad, bottle and the scent are pretty, it's just not my thing and that's ok).
