Last month I reviewed 2 of the new Maybelline Baby Lips, at the time I only had 2 of the 4 shades but now I've got all of them so I thought it was worth reviewing these other ones if only to show you them on my lips and talk about the pigmentation. I obviously will be repeating myself a lot, hence why I've left it a few weeks to talk about them again, if you haven't read the first review though take a look here, I talked about the shades Pink Shock and Strike A Rose.
Like the other 2 shades they are moisturising, they feel soft on the lips and leave a glossy finish. Maybelline claim that these will give you 8 hours of hydration but I would say it is more like a couple of hours, if anyone knows of a lip balm that keeps your lips soft and hydrated for 8 hours let me know! The shades I reviewed previously were both pink based colours, these ones though are a little bolder but still very wearable so don't be put off by the bright exterior.
Berry Bomb
This is definitely my favourite shade out of the two, I am really loving berry shades at the moment but nothing too bold which is probably why I like this product so much. You can definitely tell it is a lip balm but it better pigmented than most out there. I think this will be perfect for those who want to step out of their comfort zone a bit this Autumn and Winter, it's a good starting place. It's got pink undertones which makes it so wearable as well, this has already become one of my favourite Autumn lip products.
OH! Orange!
In the swatch you can see that this shade is very orange but on the lips it transfers to a more wearable shade. It is almost like a my lips but better plus a bit of orange shade, you can definitely see the orange tones in it but it has a natural side to it. Again I think this would be great for those wanting to try some different colours, it isn't bold but there is still that element of a brighter colour underneath it.
Again there will be a lot of people who don't like these, they are a definite love or hate product but as I keep on saying I really do love these. These Electro ones certainly do hold a lot more colour compared to the original ones, it isn't anywhere near like a lipstick but for a no makeup/natural makeup day these are perfect.
