Call of Duty games have become known to require ridiculous amounts of storage space with every entry over the past few years, but as Activision recently promised, Call of Duty: The Vanguard will solve this problem (to some extent, at least), through its use of “new texture streaming technology on demand”, which will reduce file sizes by 30% on PS5, Xbox Series X / S and PC. 50%.

- Xbox One: 56.6 GB Download | 56.6 GB of space required
Activision says gamers will also be able to manage storage space and reduce the overall game file size during or after preloading.
Speaking of pre-loading, Activision has also confirmed the exact times for when the game’s pre-load will be available. Preloading on Xbox Series X / S and Xbox One begins October 28 at 9:00 p.m. PT. In North and South America, preloading for PS5 and PS4 begins at the same time, and on October 29 at midnight local time everywhere else.
PC preloading will begin on November 2, although exact details on the game’s schedules and system requirements for minimum, recommended, competitive and Ultra 4K settings will be revealed “soon.”
Call of Duty: The Vanguard launches on PS5, Xbox Series X / S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC on November 5.
